Please call me Reverend Monica. I went to a lot of effort logging on to the Universal Life Church website so that I could be an ordained minister. I also bought a license plate holder that says I'm a reverend and it cost $15. Yes, I can do weddings. Baptisms too. Members of my flock include my two dogs and a cat. I'm trying to convert the turtles.

In addition to being clergy, I am a master of Reiki. I don't need to understand it logically, but It does work. I've seen and felt it. I use it often in my classes and in my work as a licensed massage therapist.

I've been teaching yoga for four years. I've studied with many different people and I've picked up things I like from all different styles. The moment I stopped studying yoga and began living my own authentic yoga was the real beginning for me. I teach whenever I'm able and whenever someone asks me to.

When I'm not busy being a goddess of light, I make lunches and pick up Legos for my two boys, ages 8 and 13.
